When you go on vacation, you want to find a restaurant that’s unique to the area, has great food, and enhances your overall getaway experience. However, finding a good restaurant is often easier said than done, and many Florida visitors often succumb to dining at just another chain restaurant.

If you are in the mood for an Asian-inspired dish, then you may want to check out Thai on the Beach. This restaurant is moderately priced and features a variety of Thai dishes prepared daily by the chef/owner. Thai on the Beach is located one block south of Sunrise Boulevard and has great beach views. This restaurants is open for lunch and dinner.
For some great American food, why not try one of the following restaurants:
- Cero Restaurant – although quite pricey, this restaurant located at the Ritz Carlton has good reviews for its Florida-inspired menu. Note that dress for this restaurant is considered business casual to dressy.
- Cafe Blue Fish – if water views, live entertainment, and inexpensive seafood is what you seek, then you may want to check out this restaurant.
An expensive but unique dining experience awaits you at Cafe Del Mar, located near the Las Olas Riverfront. The food at this restaurant is considered Mediterranean with a hint of Italian; the menu includes everything from pastas to Florida seafood to breakfast foods. The Cafe Del Mar also features nightly live entertainment.
If all you want is a cup of coffee or something sweet, then you can check out GelatoDream. Here you can get authentic Italian gelato as well as espresso, cappucino, and other drinks made to order. You may also want to visit St. Bart’s Coffee Company to sample their baked goods or fresh-brewed coffee while enjoying their ocean view.
