Tucked away in the town of Coos Bay, Oregon, can be found the delicious Benetti’s Italian Restaurant. This locally-owned restaurant was started back in 1972 by Joe Benetti. Joe Benetti was born and raised in Nevada, and his grandparents immigrated to the United States from Italy. From these grandparents come the tastes and traditions of Italy now displayed in this restaurant.
Joe loved the kitchen and has vivid memories of his family all gathered together in the kitchen to cook ravioli and other Italian dishes. He stopped by Coos Bay during a trip to Oregon and loved it so much that he later decided to make it the location of business.
The original restaurant began as a deli that served sandwiches, meats, cheeses, and other deli foods. It also had what they called an “Italian Special.” It soon became clear this was a favorite; and from then on, the focus shifted from a deli to an Oregon restaurant with Italian dishes.
Benetti’s sees both many locals and many tourists who have gotten the word about the great authentic Italian food served at Benetti’s. You’ll dine overlooking the Coos Bay boardwalk as you watch ships travel through the bay and all sorts of activities.
Downstairs in the family dining area, you and your kids can enjoy watching all the tropical fish swim around in their 150-gallon fish tank. Or if you dine upstairs, you can try a cocktail or glass of wine from their lounge.

Many of the main entrees at Benetti’s includes: veal piccata, veal parmigiana, chicken parmigiana, calzones, fettuccine alfredo, spaghetii with Italian sausage meatballs, New York steak, gnocchi, lasagna, ravioli with meat and spinach, and steak sugo. All of these are made with the finest and freshest ingredients. You can also order a smaller portion of many of the most popular menu items. A meal of all you can eat soup, salad, and garlic bread could make a great meal too.
