The West Coast Game Park in Bandon, Oregon, has the very first walk-through safari where you can meet, pet, and take pictures of hundreds of wildlife critters. And you can see all these animals for yourself when you visit the area of Grants Pass, Oregon.
West Coast Game Park is Oregon’s largest, self-supporting wildlife attraction in the entire state. Here you can pet a cub, pup, or kit and meet many other animals closer than you would at most other zoos or animal parks. Because of this, many say this is one of the most exciting animal parks they have ever been to.
At This Animal Park:
You can show up to West Coast Game Park in your Oregon RV rental between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the summer or until 4:30 p.m. during the colder months. You’ll want to get online or call the game park directly to ensure their hours for the time of the year you visit. You definitely will want lots of time to see all the animals.
And just what types of animals will you find here at the park? For starters, you’ll see baboons, bears, camels, cougars, emus, goats, leopards, lions, llamas, panthers, peacocks, and raccoons. Other animals here include the silver fox, snow leopard, swans, tigers, wallabies, zebras, and even white skunks!
The park attendants always offer a special animal for petting and filming when you visit. Right now the featured animal is a baby black leopard. If you go on the West Coast Game Park website, you can see this adorable creature drinking milk out of a small bottle.
