Lombardi’s Pizza is located in the birth place of New York style pizza – New York City. During the year of 1905, Lombardi’s received a license to sell by the city of New York and became America’s very first pizzeria. Over 100 years later, it is still regarded as one of the best pizzerias and soon you’ll understand why.

Made with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, you’ll enjoy not only this but the soft crusts. Many of these pizzas signature toppings are homemade and are the reason locals and tourists alike come back again and again.
Hours at this NY restaurant are Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday night from 11:30 a.m. to midnight. Reservations aren’t accepted Friday through Sunday and the dress code is casual. And be sure to bring cash with you, as it is the only form of payment accepted. An ATM is available onsite to ensure you have enough cash.
Along with the standard, traditional pizza they also sell what is called a white pizza. This has no sauce but is topped with mozzarella, ricotta, romano cheese, oregano, basil, black pepper, and a garlic-infused oil. Sides here include a house salad, Caesar salad, bread sticks with sauce, and tomato and mozzarella.
A red awning and a large painting of the Mona Lisa will welcome you from the outside. Take notice of the pizza she is holding too.
